Physical Education
Curriculum Drivers
Our vision for learning (Quoted from Teaching and Learning policy)
The vision for our school is to provide our children with the best possible start in life through the provision of a vibrant, engaging and relevant curriculum where children are challenged and inspired to excel. We strive to develop a community of life-long learners who are ready to succeed in the 21st century.
High-quality physical education inspires all pupils to succeed and excel in competitive sport and other physically demanding activities. It provides opportunities for pupils to become physically confident in a way that supports their health and fitness. Opportunities to compete in sport and other activities build character and help to embed values such as fairness and respect. Through sport, our pupils begin to develop the important life skills of discipline, resilience, communication, teamwork, and ambition: qualities that they are then able to use in their learning within the classroom and beyond.
